Booklet Printing Instructions

We highly encourage every participant to have their own booklet, whether it’s a digital version or a print version.

To print the booklet at home:

1. Download PRINT – Community Journey Booklet to your computer
2. Open the document and select print
3. Change print settings to:
   1. Double sided
   1. Flip on the short side (note these might be on the same dropdown or separate)
4. You can print in colour or B&W, only the front and back pages are in colour
5. Fold in the centre
6. Staple for binding
   1. At home: from the outside along the edge approximately 3-4mm inward
   1. At Staples: use the deep stapler, lay the booklet flat and use the cover image to find the centre

To print at Staples in person:

1. Download PRINT – Community Journey Booklet to your phone or USB
2. Use the self-serve printers at your local Staples to print *ask staff for settings help*
3. Follow step 6 for binding

*This option will cost approximately $5.50 per booklet

To print at Staples online:

1. Download PRINT – Community Journey Booklet to your computer
2. Go to https://shop.staplescopyandprint.ca/pages/document-printing#s-d
3. Select either Same Day or Complete Print Solution *This will take 1-3 days to print
4. Upload the document and check you have permission to print/copy
5. Ensure the following settings are selected:
   1. Layout > Orientation – Landscape; Reduced/Enlarged Pages – Stretch to fit
   1. Print Colour > Printing – Black & White; Exceptions – First Page Colour (option with Complete Print Solution)
   1. Page Set Up > Double Sided
   1. Binding/Stapling/Hole Punching > Stapling – Saddle Stitching-2 stitch

*This option will cost approximately $5.41 – $4.70 per booklet, plus taxes and fees.
